Now out for August, we’re piecing together a full list of the shine locations for every game featured in the Roblox The Games event.

Taking place in August 2024 to coincide with the Olympic Games taking place in Paris, this particular promotion pits content creators against each other, with fans then choosing which side of the feud to bat for.

Which games are part of Roblox The Games?

Over 50 games are confirmed to be taking place in the Roblox The Games event. While active, you’ll be able to complete quests and find hidden collectables to earn points for your chosen team and various other event-specific rewards.

Roblox The Games guides | Quests and Shines locations for all games

The Games Hub

The Games hub features 10 hidden Roblox Logo tilts to find across the map. You can also collect silver medals by clearing the following quests. Each is world 10 silver:

• Complete the Flying obby.
• Complete the Ninja obby.
• Complete the Grow and Shrink obby.
• Take a screenshot with your team captains.
• Shoot all the archery targets.
• Whack all the moles as a giant.

Three more Silver-granting quests unlock across the first three days of the event.

Hidden Treasure locations – Where to find the 10 Roblox logo tilts for 10 Shines

1. Collect the floating block by the pillar at the spawn
2. Behind the leaderboard characters on the Mighty Ninjas island.
3. Climb the rubble to the left of the Pink Warriors island arch to find it at the top of said arch.
4. Head up the stairs of Angry Canary island to find it inside the split pillar on the left.
5. On Crimson Cat island, climb a few of the stones to the right of the leaderboard and hop off from the left onto the pathway. It’s at the end.
6. On Giant Feet island, head up the first set of stairs to find it under the portal arch.
7. Back on Pink Warriors island, hop right off the northern point onto the supports below to find it on your right.
8. Back on Giant Feet island, climb the grassy terrain to the right of the stairs. Run along the floating stone ring to find another Roblox Logo Tilt.
9. Head back to Angry Canary island. Get back into the split pillar where you found Tilt #4 and jump into the sharp stone path. Hop onto the rocky terrain toward the end for another Roblox Logo Tilt.
10. Lastly on Crimson Cat island, head all the way up the stone stairs to the right of the leaderboard. Hop onto the stone arch and jump down onto the platform at the end. Climb to get around the back of the shattered pillar for the final Roblox Logo Tilt.

Note that Roblox Logo Tilts may need to be found in order. You may also need to complete the map quests.

Obby but you’re on a bike

In Obby but You’re on a Bike, you just need to complete the in-game quests to earn badges:

• Place top 3 in race OR finish 3 races.
• Beat World 1 and Event World time trials.
• Finish the event world.

Obby but you’re on a bike Shines locations

Shines in ObyoaB look like regular gifts as opposed to the normal Shine appearance.

• In the middle of the running track on The Games map.
• At around 60%, use the cannon in the middle of the table football area to boost up to the large basketball net for another.
• Anywhere on the Race World track.
• At around 47% on World 1.
• At 2% of World 2.

RoBeats

Robeats has three quests and five hidden collectibles for The Games event:

• Complete 3 songs in matches with 3 or more players.
• Earn 500 points from tasks
• Earn 1,000 points from tasks

Hidden Shines locations

• Behind the Practice building.
• At the back of the Robeats Exchange.
• At the end of the left track in the underground R Lounge.
• In the Move Your Blox building.
• In the Teams building.

Slap Battles

Slap Battles has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event:

Slap Battles Shines locations

• Directly under where you spawn. Fall off the map toward the stone heads to access.
• Enter the Blue portal to find one behind the tree with the duck.
• In the red portal map, cross the rainbow bridge to the small snow wall to find another
• Ride the plate orbiting the map and hop off by the floating tree island with a stone head to find another.
• Reach Slapple Island by crossing over to the tree island via the wooden planks and climb the chain up to the next.

Eat the World

Eat the World has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event, which you can participate in by using the Games button to teleport to the event island:

1. Reach 300 size nd complete the race around the map.
2. Earn 150 points by breaking targets.
3. Earn 1000 points by eating.

Eat the World Shines locations

• From the spawn beach, head to the close visible mountain. Climb from the back and eat through the dotted section of wall at the peak to find the first Shine.
• Opposite that point, jump down to spot another dotted wall to the left of the house.
• Enter the nearby village and take the left path out to spot another dotted wall by the fork in the road.
• Continue down the path and along the short bridge to find breakable terrain (and the next shine) by the zipwire.
• Take the zipwire and continue in that direction until you reach the waterpark area by the coast. You’ll spot more breakable terrain on the cliff left of the slide.

Hockey Legends

Hockey Legends has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event:

Use the Park button on the left to head to the event zone to start collecting shines. They’ll display as hockey sticks in this game.

Hockey Legends shines locations

• Pass the server browser board and take a right on the path to go between the two rinks. Turn left to go behind one to find the first Hockey Legends shine.
• Get back onto the path closest to you and head all the way down. The next shine in in the middle behind a trio of trees against the houses.
• Continue down the path and turn left. Press on to find one on your left by the railings.
• Head into the Hall of Fame for another on your left.
• Then keep on the path and take the left turn. You’ll come across the final one on your left as you approach the server browser board once more.

Be NPC or Die

Be NPC or Die has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event:

1. Complete 10 tasks and win one round as a criminal.
2. Find 5 criminals and win one round and Sherrif.
3. be the first to reach the lighthouse’s peek and light the lantern.

Be NPC or Die Shines locations

The Shines in Be NPC or Die all spawn in the lobby between matches. They don’t appear to spawn in order, so you’ll have to check every location until you find one, which should spawn the next in one of the other applicable locations. They can also be collected by other players.

1. On the fountain.
2. Behind the counter of the cafe.
3. At the end of the obby.
4. Climb the lifesavers onto the second floor of the computer room.
5. Through the partially open shutter close to the obby.
6. In the alleyway by the large dark rail tunnel.
7. On the palm tree by the cafe.
8. By the dumpsters.

Launch into Space Simulator

Launch into Space Simulator has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event:

• The Game
  • Find 5 event items scattered in 1, 2, and 3 Worlds
• The Game Begins
  • Collect 50 stars.
  • Open 7 eggs.
  • Jump from the launcher seven times
• Finders Keepers
  • Update the launcher to level 2.
  • Reach the moon in the second world.

Launch into Space Shines locations

You’ll need to play up until World 3 to reach every Shine in Launch Into Space.

• To the left of your launcher in the Moon area.
• To the right of the VIP sign in the VIP area between the two launchers.
• To the left of the VIP sign in the third area.
• On the west side of the ring in the VIP area.
• By the ship in Spawn World.

Sonic Speed Simulator

Sonic Speed Simulator has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event:

• Collect Chaos Orbs
• Get GOLD in any Time Trial
• Beat Metal Sonic in the TMNT Race

Sonic Speed Simulator Shines locations

All five Sonic Speed Simulator Shines are found on the Green Hill Zone map.

• Just after the portals as you head toward the beach.
• From the spawn, head toward the portals and take the right path to find one by the bridge you’ll come to.
• After the bridge, drop down before the loop-de-loop onto the path. Take the right turn, then a left, and two rights. You should find one in a tunnel.
• Get back onto the loop-de-loop path from before and follow it to the next loop-de-loop. It’s right before it on your left.
• From the spawn, head toward the portals and take the path left. Follow it onto the second island and break right after the arch. Climb the platforms along the ocean to find the final SSS Shine at the end.

Ultimate Football

Ultimate Football has five hidden Shine collectables for The Games event:

Ultimate Football Shines locations

Teleport to the Training Centre to start searching for Shines. Ultimate Football lists hints for the Shine locations in The Games tab. Here’s what they mean:

• Let’s go fishing!
  • At the pier.
• Sightseeing from up high
  • Climb the ladder behind the Team Store.
• I bet it stinks down there
  • Under the ground behind the shop
• We should replace those windows
  • Behind the shutter with the transparent windows in Roblox Stadium.
• Indoor swimming pool, you say?
  • Through the door to the back left of the auction house.

Drive World has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event:

Drive World Shines locations

Drive World shines are split between five different obby stages. Use the Event tab to teleport to the correct area.

• Yellow Obby
  • On the final coloured cylinder after the fourth checkpoint
• Red Obby
  • On the far left part of the girder section after the fifth checkpoint.
• Orange Obby
  • After the first checkpoint, reach the very end of the tube tunnel to find it against the crash test icon wall.
• Green Obby
  • After checkpoint 3, travel along the checked spiral road until you get under the overlap to find another Shine.
• Pink Obby
  • The final Drive World shine is after checkpoint 3. It’s on the left of the final flat spinner platform before they angle slightly.

Keys

Keys has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event:

Bee Swarm Simulator

Bee Swarm Simulator has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event:

• Hit a golf ball into the Dandelion Field hole.
• Hit two golf balls into the Blue Flower Field hole.
• Hit three golf balls into the Sunflower Field hole.

Bee Swarm Simulator Shines locations

• On Sun Bear’s RV.
• In the ticket shop.
• Behind the two blue flowers in the third zone.
• In the Bear shop.
• To the right of the Christmas tree by the shop.

Track and Field Infinite

Horse Race Simulator

Horse Race Simulator has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event:

Arm Wrestle Simulator

Arm Wrestle Simulator has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event:

• Collect the Silver from the Town
• Collect the Silver from the Farm.
• Collect the final silver.

Arm Wrestle Simulator Shines locations

• On the beanbag in spawn room of the Games world.
• On the roof of the house to the left as you leave your room.
• On the high mounts in the Farm area.
• In the city area, head toward the trashed tunnel to spot a Shine sticking out.
• To the right of the three NPCs blocking access to the champion.

Arsenal

Arsenal has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event:

• Kill 20 enemies in one run
• Do not purchase upgrades until Floor 2
• Complete all 3 floors

Arsenal Simulator Shines locations

• In a trash can by the Mode Rules billboard
• Behind the greenscreen.
• On the wing of the hanging plane.
  • Shoot through the glass on the upper floor to reach.
• On the rafters in the room where you broke the glass.
• Exit the glass/rafters room from the other exit and climb the beam on your left.

Super League Soccer

Super League Soccer has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event:

• Pass to teammates 7 times.
• Tackle 3 opponents.
• Score 3 goals.

Super League Soccer shines locations

• By the mission board in the spawn.
• Behind the Top Goalscorers board in the spawn.
• By one of the goals.
• By one of the corner exits by a goal.
• One in the middle in of the pitch close to the crowd.

Pacer Test

Pacer Test has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event:

Untitled Boxing Game

Untitled Boxing Game has three quests for silver and five hidden shines for The Games event:

• Defeat the Boss
• Defeat the Performer
• Knock down the strongest once

Untitled Boxing Game Shines locations

• Open the shop, click ‘Maps’, then click the person artwork until one appears pointing at a Shine. Click the shine.
• Behind the ring at the very end of the map.
• Behind the leaderboards.
• Use the server browser to enter the ‘???’ server. Click the Shines until one is revealed as real.
• Win a fight. A Shine is a potential reward from the roulette wheel.

Tongue Battles

Tongue Battles has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event:

• Unlock 3 tongues
• Shoot and score 10 goals
• Deal 800 damage in Team Mode

Tongue Battles Shines locations

• At the end of the road behind the arena portal.
• Behind the back left tower of the chained platform. Climb the chain and drop down.
• Behind the island with the team banners.
• By one of the goals.
• Behind the island with the fire.

SharkBite 2

Fishing Simulator has three quests and five hidden collectables for The Games event:

Complete the Port Jackson Games questline from Mayor Eliza. Get your equipment, fish up some winning catches, and win the race to clear the lot and get the boat needed to find the shines.

Fishing Simulator Shines locations

• Under the rock arch on the main island.
• Enter the hatch at the top of the stairs in the supply store. Enter the small door at the back.
• Climb Eruption Island (around level 10 required or complete the event quests for a boat).
• On the edge of the right island of Monster’s Borough.
• On the cove/beach of the northern tip of the left island of Monster’s Borough.

• Compete in an obby with a timer. You need to place in the top 3.
• Compete in a mermaid-themed race. You need to place in the Top 3.

After completing all three quests, you can enter the new Dress to Impress code to claim a new outfit.

When is Roblox The Games?

Roblox The Games is confirmed to begin on August 1, 2024. It runs until August 11.

What do you do during Roblox The Games?

Roblox The Games has you choose to support one of five content creator-led teams via the event hub. From that point on, you can clear quests and gather collectables in the hub and over 50+ experiences to earn points toward your team.

What are the Roblox The Games teams?
