All the Features Available in Black Myth: Wukong's Photo Mode

Games are getting more and more beautiful, and many of them are offering stunningly realistic artwork. With that in mind, many developers have made it a point to add photo modes to their games, giving us all the option to become amateur photographers in-game and showcase our favorite moments. Game Science is continuing that trend with its new action role-playing game Dark Legend: Wukong.

With the click of a few buttons, you can enter the game's photo mode and start taking photos of your character in gorgeous environments. There are even plenty of ways to edit them on the fly, including adding filters, adjusting depth of field, and more. Here are all the photo mode features in the game Dark Legend: Wukong

What photo mode features are available in Black Myth: Wukong?

Dark Legend: Wukong's photo mode may not be the most elaborate you'll find in a game, but there are plenty of ways you can edit your photos and prepare them for sharing with your friends. When you're ready to dive in, open your menu and look at the bottom left of the screen to see “Photo Mode.” Press the corresponding button or key next to it to open photo mode.

You can switch to photo mode by pressing the V key from this menu.

Full list of photo mode features Dark Legend: Wukong are as follows:

Field of View

Field of View lets you zoom in or out on a selected object by zooming in on the camera's scope, or widen it to see a wider area.

Roll

Roll lets you adjust how much the photo is tilted (as if you were taking the photo at an imperfect angle).

Depth of Field

Depth of Field lets you adjust the sharpness of objects that are close to or far away from your subject in the frame. In other words, you can blur the background to make your character stand out more, or do the opposite and draw attention to something behind you.

Brightness, Contrast and Vignette

You can adjust the brightness and contrast of your photos, and adjust the intensity of the vignettes you apply to the corners to create a sense of focus on a particular subject or feature in your photo.

Filters

You can add filters ranging from black and white to vibrant. Playing with these can add a fun touch to your photos.

Title and Body Stains

You can remove your headgear to show off your handsome monkey face in photos, or remove the armor spots on it if you want to look flawless in your glamorous photos.

Frames

Available frames are essentially black bars that sit on top or to the sides of your photo. You can use them to add a cinematic touch to your photos.

Stickers

A handful of stickers are available, including the game's logo, which are great for images you might take for a website or YouTube thumbnail.

And these are all the features available Dark Legend: Wukong's photo mode at launch. It's possible Game Science will add more features in the future, but for now what's here should be enough to keep most of us hanging around for a while longer.
