How do I use codes in Anime Defenders?
How to use Anime Defenders codes – you must reach level 8 first:
- start Anime Defender.
- Click on the “…” button in the top left row.
- Click on the Button “ Codes“.
- Enter a working AD code.
- hit Pay off.
When a code is entered correctly, the rewards will be credited to your account. Watch for the gem counter to increase and run to the summoning pool to get new units.

Is there an Anime Defenders Trello link?
Surprisingly, there is no Anime Defenders Trello link here. Despite being one of the biggest and most complex Roblox TD games to be released this year, there is no public Trello. Fans keep talking about creating one, but that probably won't happen until there is a unified approach.
How do I get portals in Anime Defenders?
Anime Defenders UPD 4 introduced three different portals that you can collect across certain maps in Infinity Mode.
The more difficult the map/chapter, the higher the chance you will see a drop. Here are where they can be found:
- Demon Portal
- Windmill Village
- Haunted Town
- Cursed Academy
- Portal of the Cursed Kingdom
- Blue Planet
- Underwater Temple
- Swordsman Dojo
- Portal of the Old Dragon

When is the next Anime Defenders update coming?
After the release of UPD 4 Pt. 2 on July 21, no release date for the next update has been announced yet. While it didn't come out the following week, well-known YouTube partners have already started showing off the first UPD 5 devices, leading to speculation that UPD 5 could be released on Sunday, August 11.
Anime Defenders Patch Notes – July 25, 2024
TROUBLESHOOTING
- Fixed cursed attacks.
- Fixed a bug that caused Pro Gamer and Enchanted to summon incorrect health in the Tower of Eternity.
- Fixed an issue where Pro Gamer and Enchanted Shields were added to summoned enemies and regeneration.
- Fixed no damage indicator being displayed for armor damage.
- Fixed an issue where Lunar Empress's final ability dealt the wrong amount of damage.
BALANCING BUG FIXES
- It has been set up so that the enchanted spirit is summoned when the damage that killed the enemy is more than 25% of their maximum health or there is a 10% chance, and also at 15% of the enemy's maximum health it summons.
- Lunar Empress now increases damage by 0.05% when she damages more than 60% of the enemy's health when she kills, or when she kills an enemy for the fifth time without taking damage.
Changes
- Damage indicators (There are now indicators when you hit an enemy with a shield, and there are blue damage indicators for enemies hit by armor).
Anime Defenders UPD 5: Leaks, Features and Release Date
On July 30, the team shared details about Anime Defenders UPD 5, Athenyx's Realm. Here's a summary of what it's supposed to include:

- 6New Inf Challenge Mode
- 6 new game modes
- 11 new units
- 3 banners and ways to grind
- 1 Battle Pass
- Contains the Athenyx's Key and Athenyx's Tether items, which are used to leave the six-card realm and bring back a unit
- New repetition element in the portal
- New Wave – Skip article
- New item to increase the unit level cap
