Oculus Studios and Camouflaj have released the first gameplay footage of Batman: Arkham Shadow.
The VR title, which will be released this October, was unveiled on Tuesday during Gamescom Opening Night Live.
Below you can check out the first gameplay footage of the upcoming title.
“This time you are Batman,” says an official description of the game.
“Land bone-crushing blows. Glide into helpless enemies. Retreat into the shadows. Camouflaj has reimagined the core Arkham experience for VR, taking particular inspiration from Batman: Arkham Asylum and its complex and interconnected level design. You must master all of Batman's abilities to save Gotham City.
“Set between the events of Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Asylum, you take on the role of a relatively young – and increasingly confident – Bruce Wayne as he takes on the Rat King, a dangerous new criminal with a cult-like following.”
Batman: Arkham Shadow was announced in May when it was confirmed to be a Meta Quest 3 exclusive.
It is the second VR game to bear the name Batman: Arkham, after Batman: Arkham VR, which was released alongside the original PlayStation VR headset.
