Dead Rising Remake Could Remove OG's Most Sexist Feature

The recently announced comeback Dead Rising I met both of them joy and anxietyin light of the redesign of main character Frank West. Capcom's 2006 zombie-bashing madhouse was hugely entertaining, but it was also way ahead of its time. Familythrough Europlayerthe upcoming remake may eliminate one of its less… appealing aspects.

Original in 2006 Dead Rising You played as a goofy photographer trapped in a Colorado mall during the zombie apocalypse. You had to survive 72 in-game hours by creating improvised weapons from items looted from stores and various events that took place during those three days. And it was great. But then there was the part where You took cleavage photos of women to get extra points. Hmm…Yes.

In a “Director's Report” video released by Capcom, the game's producer and director, Kei Morimoto and Ryosuke Murai, opened by being incredibly forthcoming about the mixed reactions the game's announcement received. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster The two then play the game together, showing off excellent camaraderie, teasing each other for mistakes and even laughing at unfinished gameplay glitches. Honestly, it's a really fun video to watch.

They were eagle eyes Family has noticed that the game will no longer rate Frank's photos for “Erotica.” In the game, you earn Frank points for improving your skills by taking photos that are graded on different factors. It looks like seeing some boob in the movie will no longer be included. It's not yet known if it will update the missions that require such shots; we've reached out to Capcom for confirmation on this change and to ask for more details.

In the video, we also learned that the game will now feature weapon durability meters that let you know when your favorite saw or hockey stick is about to break, that all dialogue will now be fully voiced (and in nine languages), and that there's a broadcast mode that removes licensed music and replaces it with more generic music.

Personally, I much prefer the new Frank. I think the redesign is much more reflective of a jaded, middle-aged freelance journalist, and I say that with a grain of salt. The previous version was a far cry from Max Payne, and I love all the characters that have been added now. (That's not to say that's wretched with hold the original version hostage in the pre-order bonus(Never pre-order games.) I would have preferred it even more if it weren't an in-game requirement to perform low blows like a sexual predator.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster It will be available for download on September 19th, with a physical release on November 8th.
