Dreamlight Valley Update Forces Characters to Stay Awake Forever

  • Eagerly awaited weekly rotations! Look out for new optional items in the Premium Shop (as well as some returning favorites) and new weekly DreamSnaps challenges and rewards.

NEW CONTENT (EXPANSION PASS HOLDERS):

  • Return to Ancient's Landing for Act Three – “Treasures of Time” – this is the final act of the game Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Crack in Time!
  • Jafar is making his way from the Isle of Eternity to the Rift, unlocking new Friendship Quests and new unique items!

EDIT MODE, FURNITURE & WARDROBE:

  • Search filter added to Furniture and Wardrobe menus.
  • Added the ability to mark items in the Furniture and Wardrobe menus as “Favorites” or “Hidden”, add these items to new relevant categories, and show favorite items at the top of these menus.
  • Added the ability to save custom outfit presets, making it easier to switch between full outfits.

  • New sorting options have been added to the Wardrobe and Furniture menus.
  • Added the ability to reset a room by removing all furniture in a room at once.

PHOTO MODE:

  • Added 2 new full body Avatar poses to Photo Mode.

EVENTS:

  • Added a toggle to the settings menu that replaces fishing and time warp button presses with the “hold” command.
  • Added a toggle button to the cooking menu that turns off the “results” screen and animation while cooking, speeding up the cooking process.

REMY'S SPECIAL DELIVERIES:

  • The base number of Forged Iron bounties for requests has been increased to 6, while the maximum bounty has been increased to 15.
  • Reduced the amount of Forged Iron required to craft some tables and chairs.
  • The amount of Forged Iron rewarded for completing Stitch's large order has been increased.
  • The number of pies required for the pie eating contest has been reduced.
  • If you've got Remy's Special Deliveries turned on, keep an eye out for a message from Remy in your mailbox detailing the above changes and offering you some Forged Iron for your troubles. This will be available until mid-September.
  • Adjusted the “Forged Iron -> Iron Ingot” crafting recipe to only appear after the first Remy's Special Deliveries mission is completed to avoid confusion.

PREMIUM STORE:

  • Various UI improvements have been implemented.

OTHER:

  • Belle's character model has been redesigned to better reflect her character's magic!
  • PlayStation consoles now support cross-platform play.
  • Optimization is ongoing to reduce crash rates across all platforms.
  • Loading times on player profiles have been reduced, especially on Rifts with a lot of placed objects.
  • The timelines for creatures in the valley have been adjusted to provide more accessible time slots for finding our rarer animal friends.
  • Villagers' schedules have been adjusted so that players can visit their favorite characters at any time of day. Villagers can now spend time comfortably at home during periods when they were previously inaccessible.
  • The default sprint key on the gamepad has been set to Left Bumper for easier use of the game camera.

IMPORTANT CHANGES AND BUG FIXES:

  • “Village Project: Timeless Treasures” quest: Fixed an issue that caused the Time Warp Table to disappear from the player's inventory.
  • “The Remaining Ones” quest: Fixed an issue where some players were unable to obtain the Memory Orb.
  • “Diamond in the Rough” quest: Fixed the issue where some players were unable to obtain the Time Gem.
