FromSoftware is the developer of Game of the Year 2022 Hand Ring and this year Erdtree's Shadow The expansion pack has released a new hotfix for the game. Version 1.13.2 is now live on all platforms, and while it's less comprehensive than many of the game's previous patches, it does fix a number of bugs that have been plaguing players.
Perhaps most importantly, there are corrections on how to do it Soul Ashes work. Prior to this patch, it appears that using the DLC's Revered Spirit Ash upgrade material caused a number of Spirit Ashes (summonable NPC allies) to spawn without proper attack and defense stats. In particularly challenging DLC, Spirit Ashes can be key to success, so this fix is welcome. The full list of affected spirits is listed in the patch notes.
Meanwhile, for you co-op players, you'll no longer be able to summon friends in certain areas of Scadu Atlus, as the new fix removes a bug that allowed for unintended multiplayer in that area. And if you had any issues with the Red Bear fight and thought it was a bit too difficult, you might be right. The fix notes that some of the NPCs' attacks are stronger than intended, so the optional boss is getting a slight nerf.

- Fixed an issue where the Death status ailment from the Skill “Death Glare” was applied to the Skill “Deadly Poison Spray”.
- Fixed an issue that caused the power of some attacks used by the NPC “Red Bear” to be higher than intended.
- Fixed a bug that prevented players from invading other players' worlds under certain conditions in some areas of Scadu Altus.
- Fixed an issue that allowed Cooperative multiplayer in some areas of Scadu Altus when there were no area bosses.
- Corrections to Revered Spirit Ash Blessing and some spirit-related adjustments introduced in App Ver. 1.13 App Ver. 1.13/Regulation Ver. 1.13.1
- Fixed the issue where summoned spirits were not correctly receiving the attack damage and damage block increase effect from Venerable Spirit Ash Blessing.
- Fixed the issue where the status increase amount of the following spirits was different than expected.
