Video game release dates It's more of a suggestion than a promise these days.and understandably so. Making games is hard, and audiences have never been more engaged or fickle. Still, there’s always the disappointment of finding out that the sci-fi shooter or fantasy adventure game you’ve been waiting for isn’t coming out anytime soon, and a lot of that disappointment is lingering now because so many of this year’s big games were recently delayed to 2025.
The final pullback towards 2025 began as follows: ConfessedObsidian Entertainment's new action-RPG was scheduled to come out this fall, but will now be released in February. Microsoft said The delay will give upcoming Game Pass exclusives extra breathing room and give the studio more time to polish the open-world style gameplay. The company continues to promise at least one major release per quarter, and this move could help it stick to that more closely.
Next in line was: ChangedAnother Xbox console exclusive.
