Level 5’s Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time has been postponed indefinitely.
The game was announced during a Nintendo Direct in February 2023 and was originally scheduled to be released last year, but was then delayed to November.
Before the recent delay, the island-building life simulation game was scheduled to release on October 10, 2024.
“We apologize for any inconvenience caused to everyone who has been eagerly awaiting the release and sincerely thank you for your understanding,” Level 5 said in a statement. “Thank you for your patience.”
“We plan to announce further details on the timing of the new release, etc. during the online event 'LEVEL5 VISION 2024 TO THE WORLD'S CHILDREN',” it added.
There is no date yet for Level 5's upcoming vision presentation itself, but last year's vision presentation took place in November.
The studio is also currently working on the first new main game in the Professor Layton series in over a decade.
The puzzle fantasy adventure “Professor Layton and the New World of Steam” is scheduled to be released for Nintendo Switch in 2025.
The Professor Layton series enjoyed great popularity on Nintendo DS and 3DS, selling over 17 million copies by June 2018.
