Square Enix has announced a release date for the PC version of Final Fantasy 16.
The game was originally released for PS5 in June 2023 and will be released on PC on September 17, 2024 via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Square Enix also released a free demo for the PC version of the game today and a new trailer, which you can watch below.
“An epic, dark fantasy where fate is decided by powerful Eikons and the Dominants who lead them,” says the description of the new trailer.
“This is the story of Clive Rosfield, a tragic warrior who seeks vengeance on the dark Eikon Ifrit, a mysterious creature who leaves nothing but mischief in his wake.”
Square Enix President Takashi Kiryu said in April that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Final Fantasy 16 and Foamstars all sold worse than expected.
