Kunitsu-Gami: The Way of the Goddess keeps things constantly fresh with unique mechanics and levels. Enri Village is a great example as it is a boss stage in all but name. What makes things even harder is that you are physically useless during the night, forcing your villagers to pick up the slack.

There are three additional goals available, but the most difficult is to use a maximum of 1900 crystals. If you haven’t made it very far down the mountain this may seem very restrictive. Whether you’re constantly getting crushed or trying to achieve the bonus objective, I’ve got you covered.
What should be prepared before starting the scene?
Unlike other stages where you have to draw a path for Yoshiro, Enri Village differs in that it has been possessed by an evil spirit called Hidarugami. The only way to save him from this evil creature is to offer him a total of 1500 crystals. Your main source for these will be the endless waves of Seethe that the villagers have killed, but You can get a head start by simply bringing as many crystals as possible..
Replay some stages and visit or repair the bases you have opened so far. More crystals means fewer waves and less chance of your villagers falling in battle. Coming to this stage with maximum crystals is a big advantage.
Use Carpenter and Thief during the day
Since you can't physically participate in the battle, it's a good idea to give the villagers as many advantages as possible. The best way to do this is to send the Carpenter to fix broken mechanisms on the stage. I recommend prioritizing the Barrier and Reinforcement Ring next to the Torii Gate, then prioritizing the other Barriers in this area.
Crystals will also be needed to assign Villager roles, so you'll want to use a Thief. The role is unlocked in the previous stage After defeating the Mukadejoro boss. They do not participate in fights at night, but they can dig up chests containing crystals or supplies during the day. Unlike lanterns where you interact directly with villagers to ask for help, to dig up a chest you will need to command a Thief to go near the chest.
Give all villagers, including the thief, their proper combat roles before the sun goes down. The night is very long at this stage and you don't want to keep changing roles if you have to start over. Note that Archers and Lumberjacks will do the trick here, but a Hermit can also come in handy if things get a little too chaotic.
How do you defeat Hidarugami at night?
When the night phase begins, Yoshiro will be possessed by the Hidarugami spirit and Soh will lose his physical form. Stack the Archers inside the Strengthening Ring to make their attacks stronger.
Line up your Lumberjacks near the front of the Torii Gate, preferably within range of the Archers. They should be able to hold them off fairly well, although the Lumberjacks may need to retreat briefly when larger enemies appear. Don't be afraid to place them behind the Barriers if the Seethe start advancing. Your Archers should be happy to stay in the same spot, as the enemy wave will split towards both Barriers.
Your main goal is to float around, collecting crystals and healing injured villagers. The waves are structured so that some of them have a short pause in between. When you notice a break in Seethe's attack, return to Yoshiro and disperse the crystals you've collected. It takes a while to go back and forth, so it's best not to split up during the action.
Follow this process and you will have enough crystals sooner than you think. Beating the stage for the first time will unlock a real powerhouse in the role of Sumo Wrestler Villager.
How to complete Enri Village with 1900 crystals or less
The featured bonus goal for this stage is to complete the stage using 1900 crystals or less. This seems pretty straightforward until you realize that 1500 is needed to save Yoshiro from the monster, leaving only 400 left to spend on the villagers. Here are some tips for overcoming this limiting challenge.
- Fully Upgrade Lumberjacks and Archers in Advance – With eight villagers and only 400 crystals to spend, you don't have many options. I recommend going for the more cost-effective Lumberjack and Archer villager roles, as they are quite tough once they reach max level.
- Ignore Treasure Chests and Don't Hire a Thief – Summoning a Thief costs 50 Crystals. While they can mine more Crystals for you during the day, they are not as effective at night. It is better to have an extra warrior villager than one less.
- Try Again After Increasing Your Crystal Limits – Repairing all your bases is one of many things Kunitsu-Gami: The Way of the Goddess tipsand here's another reason for that. Starting the phase with an increased crystal limit means you won't have to endure as many waves of Seethe. If you repair enough bases first, you can start this phase with a sufficient number of crystals.
- Or Ignore Most of the Above with the Right Masochism Talisman – If you don't mind waiting, certain Mazo Talismans that you can earn in a few upcoming stages make this a breeze. Plum Blossoms give you extra crystals at the start of a stage, while Terrapin reduces the cost of assigning a role. Venerable Craftsman is another viable option, as it speeds up the Carpenter's repair times.

The reward for clearing Enri Village with 1900 or less crystals is a Mazo Talisman called Winter Ground Cherry. Equipping this makes it easier to control the Contamination Core during the Torii Gate mini-game. This is a great option if you're having trouble keeping Yoshiro safe in a future stage.
