Yesterday, BioWare announced Dragon Age: Guardian of the Veil Coming to PC and consoles eventually On October 31st. We He smashed the 3-minute announcement trailerbut I had to restrain myself from going into too much detail. Yes, theorizing is fun, but those looking for a bird's eye view of what's going on in that trailer aren't interested in me explaining its deep dwarven traditions. Dragon Age A universe that could explain how the character of Scout Harding was able to perform magic that dwarves normally cannot in this universe.
BioWare's dark fantasy series is a dense tapestry of history and attempts to capture one another in time. Veil Keeper It's a huge undertaking. So while I can't explain everything that's been revealed in the fantasy world of Thedas so far, I can at least try to keep you informed about what's going on. Veil Keeper before its Halloween release.
Veil Keeper A new episode of a 10-year-old lover's fight
So you've probably seen this guy, right? It's the bald elf Solas. A Dragon Age: Inquisition party member. He is a sorcerer who specializes in The Fade, a magical and spiritual plane of existence that is distinctly separate from the rest of the world. During the events Inquisitionrifts were appearing in the physical realm, allowing spirits and demons to escape from The Fade and terrorize the masses. It seemed like a logical idea to have someone with expertise in the spirit world at this time, and this man, Solas, was there just as the sky opened and the demons began to pour out.
But Solas isn't just an expert in the supernatural, he's also secretly an elven trickster god known as the Dread Wolf. This is revealed in a Marvel-esque sting in the post-credits scene, where it's revealed that Solas' misuse of an elven artifact is the reason the entire world went to shit. Inquisitionbut now that he has helped solve this problem, he returns to his original plan: to destroy the Veil that separates the physical world from the spiritual. Doing so will reunite the elves with the magic of the Fade and restore their immortality. However, it will also result in the death of everyone else.
Naturally, the players annoyed about this betrayal for more than ten years. Some Dragon Age fans were romantically involved with Solas, but he abandoned them at the last moment, causing a cataclysm that destroyed the world. You, like me, may be someone who sees Solas as a friend and hopes to save him in some way. Veil Guardian will fall later this year. Or, I absolutely hate this guy his snobbish, know-it-all attitude and this revelation make sure you notice the bad vibes before anyone else, but there's no one more ready to weep over this man's bald head than a woman despised by her god complex. Dragon Age fandom is 10 years into this journey, but there are Solasmancers at the wheel who are ready to step on the gas the moment they see him in the headlights.
While some fans are ready to face Solas on behalf of their own team, Inquisition hero, Veil Keeper Dragged into this conflict is a new hero named Rook, who has no previous relationship to our would-be elven terrorist. Solas created a barrier between the two worlds to trap the other elven gods in the Fade as revenge for killing Mythal. A beloved elven god that Solas was close to. Now, thanks to Rook's meddling, they are able to move freely between the rest of the world, which seems to be the core of the main conflict. Veil KeeperWhile fans have viewed Solas as an enemy for a decade, it appears that he is more of a catalyst for the conflict than an enemy.
