For those who like to stand back and let a bunch of servants clear out mobs, the Necromancer The Devil IV is one of the strongest classes in each season and the most satisfying for most people. At first, you can summon Skeleton Warriors or Mages. They are not bad. Really My goal is to learn how to summon a Golem Devil 4!
On paper, unlocking and using a Golem as a Necromancer seems simple. After all, the game gives you your other minions right away. However, there are prerequisites that need to be completed with the Golem. They will lead you through Sanctuary, but it's worth the journey!

How to unlock golems
There are two basic requirements to unlock a Golem: Devil 4Well:
- Reach level 25 as a Necromancer
- Necromancer: Get and complete the Call of the Underworld side quest
You can reach level 25 relatively quickly by playing in World Tier 2 as soon as you start a new Necromancer and then jumping straight into dungeons and world events. It will take you an hour or two. Once you reach the required level, a side quest will unlock. It will automatically appear in your quest log and will take you to the Sarkova Pass above Menestad once you activate the quest line.
How to complete Necromancer: Call of the Underworld
There are several steps to completing Necromancer: Call of the Underworld:
- Pray at Rathma Temple and then talk to Maltorius. He will give you a quest to obtain 12 Unbroken Bones, which are dropped by skeletal enemies in the vicinity.
- The area around Menestad frequently spawns skeletons, but they may need to respawn. Be patient! Once you find a group, start killing them. They will randomly drop Unbroken Bones, so you can kill a lot more than 12!
- Visit Bitter Cave with Unbroken Bones.
- There, you will find the Soul Jar. Kill the nearby skeletons to fill the jar. It shouldn't take long to get the desired number of souls.
- Then talk to Maltorius and claim your reward: Golems!
How to summon a golem
Once you've unlocked the golems, go to your Skill Assignment page. On PC, it's 'S'. On consoles, go to Menu or Options, then Abilities. From there, click the left analog stick to open the Skill Assignment screen.
At the bottom of the Skill Assignment screen you will see the Book of the Dead. These are your summons as a Necromancer. You should notice that the newly unlocked Golem is now available for you to assign to a hotkey. Simply select the Golem and then press Assign Skill.
Once you've assigned your Golem to a hotkey, exit the menu and use the summon ability to summon a Golem to your side!
As you level up, you’ll inevitably unlock additional Golem variants: Blood Golems (Level 28) and Iron Golems (Level 32). These variants come with different abilities and skills, allowing you to mix and match to suit your playstyle. Once you’ve unlocked additional Golem variants, you can switch between them by opening the Book of the Dead.
Appearing as a massive mass of flesh and bone, and giving off a very Necromancer vibe, the Golem is the most powerful summon in your arsenal. As the darkest class in the game, it is an essential tool in helping you defeat mobs, kill dungeon bosses, and push through end-game content!
