Warhorse Studios has confirmed that the release of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has been delayed to February.
Following an earlier leak, the studio confirmed that the game's release is now scheduled for February 11, 2025.
“Our goal was the end of the year, and we almost made it. But almost is not good enough,” said Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, PR manager at Warhorse Studios, in a video posted on the game's social media accounts.
VGC recently had the opportunity to test the game for over three hours and a report will be published on August 21st, the first public day of Gamescom.
A new trailer for the game is set to premiere during Gamescom Opening Night Live next Tuesday.
“Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a thrilling action RPG set in the chaos of a civil war in 15th century Bohemia,” says an official description of the title.
“You are Heinrich von Skalitz – an ordinary man doing extraordinary things – caught up in a gripping story of vengeance, betrayal and discovery as he embarks on an epic journey 'from the forge of a humble blacksmith to the court of kings' as he searches for meaning in this beautiful but brutal medieval world.
“From bustling city streets to lush forests, explore medieval Europe in an open world in an unforgettable adventure full of action, thrills and wonder.”
