Online marketplace Tiny House Listings has followed up its recent Outlook with a new significantly larger towable home. Called the 28' Model Tiny, the home features a spacious, light-filled interior that's perfect for those who avoid climbing the stairs to bed each night, as it's mostly laid out on a single level.
No prizes for guessing the length of the 28' Model Tiny, but it comes out to 8.5 metres for the metric-sloping model, which is on the smaller side for today's North American model but still larger than Dragon Tiny Homes' latest Kemi, for example. It's based on a three-axle trailer and finished in wood and cement board cladding and topped with a steel roof.
The tiny house’s interior measures 224 sq ft (20.8 sq m) and feels very airy thanks to its open layout. It’s accessed via double glazed doors that open onto the living area. This includes a sofa with integrated storage and a bed nearby. The windows are generous and offer excellent views and natural light.
Next to the living area is the kitchen, which has a sink, an induction hob and plenty of cabinetry, including a large pantry. There are also quartz countertops and an apartment-sized fridge/freezer (not pictured), plus a dining table for two.
The 28' Model Tiny's kitchen connects to the bathroom via a sliding door. The bathroom itself is fairly compact and has a shower, wall-mounted sink, and flush toilet (but is wired to accept a composting toilet).
There is a mezzanine above the bathroom. It's actually big enough to be used as a bedroom, but it has no windows, so it's more suitable as storage space.
The 28' Model Tiny starts at $70,500.
