A man has set a Guinness World Record for connecting the most gaming consoles to a single television.
The record was set by Ibrahim Al-Nasser, a video game collector from Saudi Arabia, and stands at 444 consoles, which Al-Nasser says are “completely different.”
To achieve this, Al-Nasser has connected hundreds of consoles to a single TV through multiple HDMI switches. The first console in his collection is the Magnavox Odyssey, the latest is the PlayStation 5 Slim model.
He also keeps a table of each console assigned to a specific HDMI switch so he can keep track of which console he wants to turn on.
“For me, Sega Genesis is the best game console of all time, always and forever number one,” Al-Nasser told Guinness.
Al-Nasser's impressive gaming collection isn't limited to consoles, though. As seen in the video below, he's amassed countless other gaming items, including several arcade machines and plenty of rare Metal Gear Solid merchandise.
The record was confirmed by the Guinness Book of Records, which is known for publishing its annual record collection.
Since the mid-2000s, the company has moved away from record-keeping and now offers its services as a promotional tool for companies, with highly specific records that can be attempted to claim a record and used for promotional purposes. Some of these records cannot be challenged by others, depending on the terms of a company's contract with Guinness.
