The release date for Path of Exile 2 Early Access has been confirmed for November 15, 2024.
The date was announced at the end of a new trailer that premiered at Gamescom Opening Night Live on Tuesday and can be viewed below.
The game will be available in Early Access for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
“Path of Exile 2 is a next-generation, free-to-play action RPG from Grinding Gear Games with co-op for up to six players,” says a description from the developer and publisher.
“Years after the original Path of Exile, you return to the dark world of Wraeclast and try to put an end to the spreading corruption.
“Path of Exile 2 features a brand new campaign with six acts, 100 different environments, 600 monsters and 100 bosses.”
Path of Exile 2 offers cross-play, cross-progression and couch co-op.
“Couch co-op is something we've wanted to do for a long time,” said game director Jonathan Rogers earlier this year. “Action RPGs are a genre that's much more fun with friends, and it's even better when you can play together in the same room.”
