Firewalk Studios has announced details of Concord's post-launch roadmap.
Sony's upcoming live service game, which will cost $40/£35 ahead of its release for PS5 and PC on August 23, will launch with 16 playable freegunners and unlockable variants, 12 maps and six modes.
As previously reported, there will be no Battle Pass for Concord, but an in-game store will be introduced in October as part of the game's first major content release, Season 1: The Tempest.
“With Season 1, we're also introducing an in-game store for those who want to further personalize their Freegunners with additional customization items and continue to support the game,” said Ryan Ellis, game director at Firewalk Studios, in a PlayStation blog post.
“These are in addition to the hundreds of rewards that can be earned through progression and are purely cosmetic, optional and have no impact on gameplay.”
Season 1 includes a new Freegunner, a new map, additional Freegunner variants, earnable cosmetics and rewards, and a new series of weekly cinematic vignettes that advance the story.
Season 2 will follow in January 2025 and promises the same new content as Season 1 as well as a new game mode.
Concord Early Access servers will go live on August 20th at 10:00 a.m. PT (1:00 p.m. ET (6:00 p.m. BST (7:00 p.m. CEST)). For everyone else, the game will go live at the same time on August 23rd.
