After a losing battle, you are left alone behind what are now German lines, and you must find your way back through the trenches.
Military service It uses the mechanics and cornerstones of classic survival horror games, including some really weird combat, but it doesn't have any of the sci-fi or horror elements that usually characterize the genre. You're not up against zombies or mutants. Military service. Just other people who are a lot like you. That's a lot of what makes it a horror story.
