The Game Awards 2024 have been scheduled for Thursday, December 12, event organizers announced on Tuesday.
The event's 10th anniversary gala will once again take place at the traditional venue, the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, and will be streamed live on various platforms.
Public ticket sales for The Game Awards 2024 begin on November 1st.
The Game Awards made its debut in 2014 with 1.9 million viewers and has grown every year since then. In recent years, the event seems to have established itself as the most watched awards show in the world.
The Game Awards 2023 broke the event’s viewership record with an estimated 118 million live streams.
The 2023 event, also held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, was a major production with musical performances, celebrity guests, numerous game reveals, and an awards ceremony.
