Sega and Two Point Studios have announced the third game in the Two Point series, Two Point Museum.
The game – which doesn't yet have a release date but will be available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S – tasks players with creating their own museum and puts them in charge of acquiring and displaying the exhibits.
Using a world map, players explore undiscovered areas in search of relics for their museum.
“As you unearth strange exhibits, the endless star rating system encourages you to customize the layout of your museum depending on your discoveries,” the game's description reads.
“You need to revisit your old collections, showcase your new finds and change your strategy as you make your megamuseum the star attraction of Two Point County.
“Send your team of specialists on daring adventures to find and recover rare artifacts in a range of exhibit types and quality. As your team goes on further expeditions, you'll unlock locations hiding exciting new exhibits in many themes and styles, from prehistoric to… well, let's just wait and see.
“Display these finds in your museum and protect them well from the elements, vandals, thieves and mischievous children. Keep frozen cavemen on ice, security cameras on alert and guard artifacts well to ensure your museum runs smoothly.”
“Two Point Museum” is the third game in the Two Point series after “Two Point Hospital” and “Two Point Campus”.
The series was created by some of the developers behind the cult title Theme Hospital, including designer Mark Webley and artist Gary Carr.
The games continue the spirit of Theme Hospital by offering simulation games that contain much more humor than the genre usually offers.
