Dragon Age: Guardian of the Veil takes more action-oriented approach more combat than its predecessors. Early footage suggests that the sequel looks to be closer to a character action game, so as someone who played a mage in each of those games, I was curious to see how Veil Keeper was going to adapt the spell-slinger class to that playstyle. The images are taken from NVIDIA's technology trailer Veil KeeperImpressive ray tracing. You tech geeks might enjoy it, but I'm more interested in how the mage class works in action-oriented combat. Dragon Age II And Inquisition were definitely closer to full-fledged action RPGs, but they still leaned at least somewhat towards the original Origins' tactical roots.
