It's been a year since Microsoft completed its acquisition of Activision Blizzard, and the publisher's games have slowly but surely begun to trickle into Xbox Game Pass. In August, the subscription service Crash Bandicoot N. Sane TrilogyIt is a very difficult but very good remaster of the first three games in the series, which was originally synonymous with the first PlayStation.
The N. Sane Trilogy Includes 1996's Crash Bandicoot1997s Crash Bandicoot: Cortex Returnsand 1998s Crash Bandicoot: Warped (1998), all with improved graphics, audio, and a bunch of new features like time trials and the ability to play as Coco. The original games were punishing, and the trilogy ups the challenge in certain ways. These Vicarious Visions ports do a great job of showcasing the colorful platforming puzzles that made Crash an icon in its day.

There aren't many options overall for the late summer slump, but there are also plenty of updates to existing Game Pass games this month. No Man's Sky's massive Worlds Part I update has finally arrived on Xbox and PC Game Pass after weeks of delay, and Sea of Thieves Season 13 is out. Finally, Dead in the daylight's 2v8 game mode can be tried on the service until August 8th. Brave It's not part of Game Pass, but it's free to play and hit consoles yesterday if you need a new hero-based tactical shooter to add to your rotation.
N. Sane Trilogy It is the third major Activision Blizzard game to come to Game Pass. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III And The Devil IV coming early in the year.
